Getting your nails done or doing them yourself is one of my favourite things to do. I’m not a person that goes to a salon to get my nails done, I don’t know what I do but I always land up messing them up lol. So I always stick to doing them myself!
Its the best feeling spoiling yourself a bit, because you deserve it! Whether your working, running around all day or feeling mentally drained, a small pamper can perk one right up! It’s interesting how something so small can make a difference in your day!
So I’ve found some beautiful nail inspo that can be worn anytime depending on your mood! I’ve got both winter and summer nails so no one is left out hehe.
I’ve been feeling pinks and maroons lately, I think because the whether has been so uncertain lately and a baby pink goes with all seasons! I know pastels have become big, particularly lilac and mint. I’m already thinking about how I want to do my nails before I leave for London lol. Do I want something subtle or something festive or something with sparkles? The opportunities are endless!
I’m intending on painting mine tonight and going for a dusty rose but then it’s also Halloween tomorrow so I’m not sure whether I now want something dark to match the Halloween vibe or to be cute and feminine. Guess I’ll see hehe!
1. Gradual nails
Gradual nails are subtle but not really, they’re sexy and sleek but also not too much depending on your colour choice.
@amyle.nails has some of my favourite inspo. I look at her work and agh! Stunning. I can scroll through her page forever and never get tired of it.
2. Coloured tips
I have been seeing these everywhere and I’m kind of loving it??? It’s that subtle pop of colour that draws me in and I need to learn how to do it!
So the maroon is more wintery and very sexy I might add! Also how do these people take such cute pics of their nails and why are their hands so photogenic lol.
This pink has me dead. It’s fruity and cute and I want my nails to look this cute everyday. I’d be drinking my iced coffee in Greece with nails like this.
3. Line-work nails
Honestly everyone has been getting tattoos and paintings and clothing with outlines on them and I don’t mind it because it’s everything to me. I need to learn how to do this ASAP.
The vibes. Honestly. I feel like I’d be in New York with Carrie Bradshaw wearing a monochrome outfit and living a lavish life. These nails say that you are THAT BITCH. They’re subdued but sensual and can go with everything. Nails are fr a category of their own!
4. Florals
I know what you’re thinking…
But what else do you expect??? Sometimes we are basic!
Now these aren’t so cliche! They’re fun and different and quite playful. They’re simple and cute and I think they would go beautifully with a white flowy dress and a radiant face!
These are a lot more subtle than the ones before. If you want it to be simple but still have that pop of colour and floral vibe then these are for you!
5. Plain Jane
There’s nothing wrong with doing a one colour mani! The colour you choose can often speak for itself and this colour definitely does.
Harriet’s nails hit different for me. This colour everything! I’ve been loving my purples lately and this is definitely a colour I’m going to be wearing walking down the streets of London!
6. Unique styles
Some nails can’t be put into a category of their own! So I’ve included some of my favourite designs and yes you will be seeing more @amyle.nails because she is my everything okay!
This more artsy nail is different but still not too much! I love the different strokes and colours and how everything is still cohesive. This is something I’d love to try one day!

These Yin and Yang nails are on another level for me. I’m speechless.
Don’t worry! Last one hehe. The gold amps up these nails to make them the slightest bit more chic. I love how Amy has a slight hint of oomph on each of her designs and I really enjoy the attention to detail. It’s unique, not too much, but just enough!
