After moving to London I knew I had to get my hands on a pair of winter boots that will last me several winter seasons. We are slowly moving into a more wet winter and it’s getting colder by the day. I have curated a list of some solid winter boots that will last you more than one season but are also chic and stylish.
Dune London – Tapioca boots in black
I just bought these Dune London boots and I am obsessed. They’re simple yet beautiful and I know they will go with everything. They’re a below the knee boot and have a chunky heel. I tried on a different pair of Dune London’s boots initially but they were too chunky on me, after trying these on, I knew they were the pair I wanted. The black is not matte, it has a slight sheen but it is not too much. They will take wearing in, be warned, but it’s worth it. Dune London’s shoes are on the pricier side but it’s of great quality and will last long.
Schuh Black Ames Leather Chelsea Boot
These Schuh chelsea boots are adorable. A chelsea boot is a classic shoe style that is a staple in one’s closet. I like that these boots have a bit of brown as a subtle change from a regular chelsea boot. They have only received great reviews, mainly being stylish and comfortable, also being called the ‘perfect chunky boot’. For 80 pounds, I think these Schuh boots look very promising and will go with everything!
LAREDO-M BLACK/WHITE
Who doesn’t like a good cowboy boot?! I’ve always loved cowboy boots and I’ve managed to get my hands on two pairs (courtesy of my mom) and I can’t wait to style them. Cowboy boots have become very in recently and I’m not mad about it lol. These Steve Madden ones are a great mix of fun but cute at the same time. They’ve got a multitude of colours as well as a few other styles. These are rather pricey, but like any boot, it’s an investment.
Topshop Tula leather mid-knee-high boot in black
Asos has a great variety of brands to choose from, so if you’re looking for a pair of boots, it’s a great place to start looking. These Topshop boots have a square toe and are giving Matrix vibes with the patent leather sheen. They can be worn dressed up and down. If you prefer a higher heel, these are a good height as they aren’t too tall but they still give you some lift.
1460 Pascal Virginia Leather Ankle boots
These dark blue Dr Martens are just beautiful. I personally wear a lot of blue and having shoes the same colour as your outfit can pull it all together. Docs are known for their quality and how great of a shoe they are overall. While they are expensive and are difficult to break in, they are going to last aeons.
Premium 6 Inch Boot for Women in Black
Timberlands are iconic. I love how this black is on the charcoal side but the iconic tan colour is also great. These are durable, comfortable and stylish. They’re great for every day and they’re waterproof! They are on the pricier side, but as mentioned, the quality of the shoe makes it worthwhile the price tag. Timberlands have a variety of colours so you can always find something that you would like and their styles vary too. I’m doing my best not to tempt myself!
Steve Madden Shaya boots in black
Ah, the Shaya Black boots from Steve Madden. If you prefer a heel, Steve Madden has great options! From black to red to anything in between, it’s worth checking out. This boot is above the knee and it’s more of a sexy heeled boot. It can be dressed up or down which I love and it’s subtle in its beauty. They have it in brown too!
